I am pleased to share today that Localist has been acquired by Concept3D, a longtime partner of ours. In the years we’ve worked together, our two companies demonstrated that we shared many of the same fundamental values, and a deep commitment to helping our customers grow their communities. When an opportunity to combine forces became clear, it was a no-brainer.

Localist and Concept3D have a shared belief that events and in-person connections are key to building community. When a student steps onto campus on the first day and they feel more connected to their campus by attending an event, getting more familiar with their surroundings, and meeting someone new, our mission is being fulfilled.

Localist’s combination with Concept3D will expand our presence in higher education by integrating campus events, virtual touring and interactive mapping solutions into a single platform. We each have worked hard to build market-leading platforms that deliver true value to our customers.

Together our solutions power over 70% of the top 100 universities in the nation with more than 600 total customers, and nearly 1,000 implementations across higher education, live events, destinations, and sporting venues.

Looking forward, Localist customers can continue to use our products as they have been, take full advantage of our existing integrations with Concept3D and anticipate more integrations and improvements on the horizon. We will continue our unrelenting focus on delivering value to our customers, solving business challenges and delivering our amazing products and solutions to as many communities as possible.

When we started Localist, we wanted to get more connected to our own community. We never imagined the company that would eventually emerge and thrive. Our customers truly found us, and our vision of getting more connected to our community evolved into helping others get more connected to theirs. That notion has been the cornerstone of what we do for over a decade.

I am so grateful to all who have contributed to our company over the years, and couldn’t be more excited about what’s in store.

Sincerely,

Myke
