Founded and operated since 1981 by the Strathmore Hall Foundation, Inc., an independent, 501(c)(3) organization, the arts center presents a lively and diverse program of art exhibitions, concerts and performing arts programs, and literary lectures and events.
High quality arts programming, designed for audiences of many tastes, served with the hospitality and warmth of a family enterprise, are the hallmarks of Strathmore. Seasonal outdoor events seek to be inclusive in their programming appeal, reaching out to people of all ages, interests and cultural heritage.

Detailed Directions: Strathmore is located just 1/2 mile north of the Capital Beltway. Take Exit 34 and head north on Wisconsin Ave. Route 355 (Rockville Pike). Take a right onto Tuckerman Lane just after the Metro overpass, follow Tuckerman around to the left, entrance to Metro parking garage is on the left. Take the stairs or elevators to the 4th level of the garage, and walk across the sky bridge into the Music Center’s main entrance.
Parking: The Music Center at Strathmore Parking
Music Center concert parking is located in the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro garage off of Tuckerman Lane. At the end of each ticketed event in the Music Center at Strathmore, the exit gates to the garage will be open for 30 minutes to exit the garage. If you leave before, or up to 90 minutes after this 30 minute period, you must show your ticket stub to the Metro attendant to exit.
Valet Parking - Valet Parking is $10 per vehicle.

Words defy how cool this was. Seriously. If you ever get a chance to see the Moiseyev Dance Company, do not miss it. It was nothing short of incredible from start to finish. Those Russians know how to dance!
