The Mount Washington Tavern is an historical and spacious bar with four separate bars. In the main bar, Watch the game, listen to the DJ, play some games, meet people. This is the place to see and be seen. At night, it gets noisy -- a fun noisy, where you're part of the action.

Many good nights were spent here. This is a great place if you want a break from the city. I haven't been to the Tavern in ages, but I miss their crab cake. Although, it's supposedly not as good anymore. Bummer.

Even after three years of living here, I'd still not been to MWT, so last night was the night. I was amazed at how big the place was, but I loved my dinner in the back restaurant (chicken quesadilla), though the same cannot be said of the crab cakes. I'm definitely coming back, to check out the other areas of the tavern.

I used to come here several times a week when I lived in the area. Their crab cakes were the best in the city by a long shot. Unfortunately, not anymore. I was given a very dry crab cake with no tartar sauce and grocery store cole slaw. The complete opposite of how they were a couple years ago.
Of course, the venue itself is amazing. It's like a greenhouse with a REAL TREE inside! So cool. I still highly recommend the Tavern, just not the crab cake.
