I saw Steve Forbes speak about the economic crisis. Ridiculously insightful. He made it sound like we aren't as screwed as the media is saying.

During the concert the BSO announced one of its musicians is retiring after 48 years in the orchestra. 48 YEARS! Incredible. Oh, the concert was amazing, too. The BSO is super talented and the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall is top notch. Great way to spend an evening!

Nothing short of amazing. Tan Dun has composed a beautiful work of art, and the BSO played it to perfection. This was only a short engagement, but I highly recommend seeing the Map of Asia performed if you ever get a chance. The background visuals and the orchestra "answering" the music from China was brilliant.
Wow. Just wow.
