Ted Leo is a unique artist for these times. He provides a near perfect combination of politics, art, punk values and humor in his songwriting and the combination is resonating with people all over the world.
Gspot is is committed to showcasing artists in all media, emerging and established, local and international, in a nontraditional way. The organization nurtures the artistic community of Baltimore and beyond by supporting the concept that free artistic expression ultimately creates a context for transforming society.

This was not my favorite Ted Leo show of the four I've been to. He was solo and kept losing momentum between songs. But I totally dug the Gspot and still love TL as much as before, so all in all, good night.

Also worth noting: the December 20th show at Gspot was canceled, so the Ted Leo show is now also their 9th anniversary event.

So it turns out I can't get free tickets because the Gspot people are simply contracting out the space to Ted Leo's promoters. HOWEVER, you can buy tickets now from the link above -- MissionTix fixed the issue.
They have about 70 tickets still remaining, so I'd act fast.

It doesn't sound like you are, but don't count me. I have a family thing the next day, so I'll just head to my parents' Friday night instead.
