After several years of performing Top 40 covers in the NJ nightclub circuit, The Mahoney Brothers (then consisting of brothers Tim and Brian, along with two other childhood friends) began what would turn out to be a long unexpected career as “tribute artists” from a simple request of a NJ club owner in 1977...
“Could you perform a full night of
music from just one artist?”
Although the band had to perform “Ticket To Ride” three times that night to fill the sets, The Mahoney Brothers (donned in Meet The Beatles style black turtlenecks) realized they had stumbled upon something special. They were immediately invited to return to the club for a number of performances that month and The Mahoney Brothers Long Live The Beatles show was born.
From Downtown Baltimore, take I-83 North to the Northern Parkway exit. Go for several miles on Northern Parkway and make a left on York Road. Proceed a few more miles, and the venue will be on the right.
